THE MERIT GROUP is currently searching for dynamic instructors for all areas of MERIT Training. Qualified applicants will have at least 5 years of progressive law enforcement experience and/or crime lab experience dealing with Methamphetamine or Clandestine Labs. Instructor experience is desired but not needed. Presentation skills are essential. Basic knowledge of Methamphetamine production is required. Priority will be given to those candidates who have taught Methamphetamine related classes and have a Chemistry background. Travel is required. Must be computer literate. Approximately 16 - 64 hours (or more) a month, depending on the number of trainings scheduled, and your desire to excel! Pay commensurate with experience. All potential Instructors will be required to attend a 40 hour instructor development program at THE MERIT GROUP Headquarters in North East, PA. This intensive program will be taught by Jake Kelton, the founder of THE MERIT GROUP. The training is free to potential instructors. Following the training, potential instructors will be notified as to the their results and final decision for placement as an instructor.
